Refund Policy

Connecting to retakes.gg CS2 servers, browsing the website, leaderboards, and loadout features are free. This policy only covers optional paid products such as VIP subscriptions.

VIP is an optional recurring subscription. Prices and billing interval (e.g. monthly) are shown at checkout before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel from the subscription management link on the VIP page (after signing in with Steam) or from the link in your checkout receipt email. After cancellation, VIP access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

By completing checkout, you agree to this refund policy. Except where stated below or required by law, subscription payments are final.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, accidental purchases, or forgotten cancellations after a renewal has processed.

Cancel before your next renewal date if you do not want to be charged again. A renewal charge is not refundable once it has been processed, except as described in the service-issues section below.

Routine partial billing periods and unused VIP time are not refundable on request when our services are operating normally.

We want retakes.gg to work well for you. If you are dissatisfied because of significant problems with our service — such as persistent bugs affecting VIP features, repeated connectivity issues on our servers, or extended uptime failures — you may contact us to request a refund review.

When we confirm a material service issue on our side, we may issue a refund for the unused portion of your current VIP subscription period, calculated proportionally from the date the issue was reported or verified. Refunds are not automatic; each request is reviewed individually. We may ask for details (Steam ID, dates, servers affected) to investigate.

Minor or isolated incidents, third-party problems (your ISP, Steam, CS2 updates), scheduled maintenance, or issues resolved quickly do not qualify on their own. We do not guarantee refunds for dissatisfaction when the service is substantially available and functioning.

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when possible, or as account credit at our discretion.

If every retakes.gg game server is completely offline for a full calendar day (24 consecutive hours) due to a platform-wide outage on our side, active VIP subscribers will receive one extra subscription day credited for each full day the entire fleet was offline.

Credits are applied automatically when we confirm an all-servers outage meeting this threshold. This compensation is in addition to any refund you may be entitled to under section 4, not a substitute for individual refund requests.

Partial outages, single-server downtime, or maintenance windows that leave at least one server online do not trigger this credit.

Do not open payment disputes or chargebacks for subscription charges you agreed to at checkout. Fraudulent chargebacks or payment abuse may result in immediate loss of VIP access and a permanent ban from paid features on retakes.gg.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights in your country where they cannot be waived by contract. Where those rights apply by law, they take precedence over this page.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
